I am from a charming place called Shao Dong. Shao Dong is a wonderful city located in the heart of China.

Shao Dong is known as the land of fish and rice, as well as the hometown of tangerines. There are many beautiful sceneries here. I love the reservoirs in my hometown. Once, when we were passing by a reservoir on our way to a cave, the boundless water surface was rippling with blue waves, one after another. The green mountains guarded the clear water. Water birds seemed to have received an invitation from nature and hurriedly danced above the reservoir, truly like a beautiful landscape painting.

I also love the fields in my hometown. In late autumn, on the orange trees in the orchards, there hung small lanterns. When approaching, you would find that they were not lanterns but shiny tangerines! In the small rivers, groups of fish were playing. Grass carps were like reserved gentlemen, swimming freely in the deep water; carp were like naughty children, competing in high jumps. During the day, the fields were filled with waves of rice, and people were working in the crops; in the evening, people sat by the river with fishing rods, enjoying the leisure time of fishing.

The city of Shao Dong is also something I am proud of. It is a prosperous and vibrant place. The streets are filled with people and vehicles, and there are various shops and restaurants.
